Great Race 2007

In the summer of 2007 Ali and I participated in
the 25th anniversary running of
The Great Race.

Ali and I raced well and took first place in the Rookie division
and 14th overall out of a field of 70 vintage cars.

We raced our 1965 Porsche 356C
which has a lot of family history,
having been the very car that I took my first ride in
back in 1974 at the ripe old age of 1 month.

The car performed great last year as we drove
nearly 9000 miles around the country in about 6 weeks time.
