Cannon Beach

After a couple of weeks of life in suburbia we packed up Grammy and Bridget and headed towards the salt air. It’s easy to forget Portland is just two hours from some of the best coastline in America.

Grammy checking out the new digs in Cannon Beach. Gotta love shoulder season, especially when you happen to nail a perfect weather window.

Nice view of Haystack Rock just down the beach a bit.

Bridget is getting old, but when she hits the freedom of the beach with the kids she doesn’t act like it.

Not our place, but man that’s a sweet spot at the end of the beach.

We’re dressed about as warm as we ever are, but honestly we didn’t expect to be able to hang out on the beach at all at the end of November. We’ve been here in June where it has been colder than this.

  4. Your mom and Bridget look great. I admire the way you stayed with your Mom and nursed her back to health. Good character and good example of doing what needed to be done for family.

  5. It’s great to see you guys and your Mom together. I hope your Holidays are full of fun, love, and adventures.
It has been warmer than average around Stillwater which looks festive this year.
If you get back this way, maybe I’ll see you out and about.
    Keep on keeping on,
    Magic
