Lolo. I’m sorry, but that’s what you are called nowadays. We smile just about every time Ouest says it. “LowLoooooow.” And you smile too. You love your sister and scramble for her whenever she comes within reach. While she might not return the greeting with the same enthusiasm you show it may be because at the moment about all you do when you get near her is pull her hair. You’re at a frustrating age now. You can crawl great, but that does you no good in trying to keep up with a two-year-old. You want to walk right alongside Ouest but instead get carried around like a sack of groceries all day. Admittedly the boat isn’t the greatest place to be a crawler. Your space is rather limited, and finding a grassy patch of land for you is a near impossibility in Mexico, so if you can turn all of that standing up you do every ten seconds or so into walking, please feel free.

Ouest, you’re turning into a little girl. Stop now. You wake up and want to get dressed almost immediately. You open up your box of costume jewelry and instead of picking out a necklace, you pick them all out. Same for bracelets. And man, if only we would let you wear rings. Yet for some reason you won’t allow Mama to do a thing with your hair. You’re talking more and more which is nice, we both enjoy conversations with you, even if they do devolve quickly into, “Why? Why? Why?” Three why answers is about our max right now, after that you get, “Because.” You ride your bike everywhere now, but do not leave the house without Molly the doll. Your mama and I are quite pleased that if you are going to carry a doll with you everywhere that you have chosen Molly, the tiniest doll there is. Well done.

Good month you two. We’re sailing again, exploring new places together, and having fun. Love you.
