Quiet Day in Fronteras

We’ve had a knack lately for getting caught in traffic jams. Here we were the first car behind the beauty queen parade. Another day we were the first car behind a walking funeral.

They’ve got a bit of everything in the tiendas along main street. Hell, they’ve even got my teen years beer of choice, Busch Light Draft, for some inexplicable reason.

It was a quiet day for us. We worked around the boat. The kids went to Spanish class and came home with their friend to play for a few hours. After driving her home we stopped off at a place on the water for dinner, with evening storms threatening the entire time.

I like the view of our marina from across the water. Boats piled up with no view of the docks themselves, and hardly a building in sight. The house at the right is a different property with a few private boat slips. Our marina has dozens of bungalows, a restaurant, and a pool, but you wouldn’t know if from here.
