Wagon

We created a bit of a stir while out walking around today. The kids were a spectacle. Ouest brought along her wagon and it wasn’t too long before we’d grown weary and plopped Lowe in it. And then block after block Ouest pulled him along behind her just as happy as a dog with two tails while he sat there as if this was exactly the way he expected to get around.

We stopped at a favorite restaurant of ours. It’s a little place that serves a good filling comida corrida for four bucks. A three course set menu lunch plus a fresh made juice. The meal was pretty much mayhem as we spilled drinks, dropped food on the floor, pulled kids out from underneath the table, and made last second dashes to the banõ.

But then as the lady at the next table got up to leave she said to us, in all sincerity I might add, “You is a very nice family. Is good you eat in local people’s restaurant.”

Amazing how nice words like those are when you’re feeling completely overwhelmed by two kids that weigh maybe fifty pounds combined.

I’m not posting this to be mean. Really. Even though it seems more and more indicative of today’s culture. And hey, don’t you think with that picture of Jesus staring at him that this is a photo just crying out for a caption. I can’t choose one.
