Day of the Dead is here, and it’s a big deal. Lots of face painting, lots of elaborate altars, and a big parade. Good day to let the pictures walk us through.

  1. You missed your calling as a photographer! Stunning images. History and civilization thru the lense of someone who feels a connection with his adopted county. Well done mastro!

    1. Agreed! Absolutely stunning photos, what a vibrant culture! Such fun to visit your new hometown vicariously! You picked a great spot there. Happy New Year & thanks again for these beautiful posts.

  2. Nothing to do with this November 2nd post, but I just watched a You Tube video about Wildcat catamarans and it reminded me of the delamination issues you had with your Wildcat many years ago and your nightmare in dealing with the manufacturer. The video is titled: “The Worst Catamaran Ever Made (The Wildcat 350 Controversy).” Here it is if you’re interested:

    1. How is it possible we didn’t even get a mention in this video. Did he not do any research? haha If it isn’t the worst cat ever made it is certainly top three. Yet, crazily enough, our boat is now being sailed around the world AGAIN, twenty years after the first trip around.

      1. I did mention your situation in a comment to that video but no response yet from Tim. Amazing that your boat is still sailing at all, let alone crossing oceans!

  3. Merry Christmas and HNY, Bums.

    Great pics.

Brian and Jen, The Dangerz, just tool delivery of their new Excess13 and it sure is pretty.
