Leaving Oaxaca

Nearly three weeks into our one week stay in Oaxaca we started to get ready to bail out. Honestly, we’re not huge fans of the city itself. It had its pluses and minuses, but overall the city didn’t win us over. What won Oaxaca for us was the abundance of places and things to do near Oaxaca. There were a ton of things to keep us busy within just thirty miles of the place. The campground was also a winner with nice overlanding hosts who helped me out with a couple of projects—including finishing Lowe’s 4th birthday present (I’ve said over and over again through the years that if you want to be helpful or earn a buck on your travels all you need is to learn to weld stainless steel). That birthday is coming up quick.
