Ouest’s Lens

The road trip through Ouest’s eyes.

I think Ouest did a good job of showing what it’s like to view the world from the backseat. It’s a far different perspective than we adults get looking through the giant lens of a windshield. I did notice in Ouest’s pictures that there wasn’t one shot of Lowe. Where’s the love, Ouest?

  1. Wow! You’re quite the photographer, Ouest! My two favorites are Washington’s head between the dark rocks/cliffs/whatever that is and the waterfall with the rainbow. Brilliant, just brilliant!

  2. I dont know if she will see this but we think Ouest is the best Mexican American photographer that we know!

  3. Nice eye, Ouest! I love the perspective of Washington’s face at Mt. Rushmore. Rainbow falls is excellent, too.
You are fortunate to have this great view from the back seat, driving across the US. Keep taking pictures!

  4. Great shots, Ouest. Love the windmill shot and your photos of Mt. Rushmore taken from the same places as mine are much better. Keep taking photos.

  5. Wow Ouest… That pic of Washington is amazing. Looks like his head was torn from magazine because of the jagged black cropping. I’d be happy to hang that one on my wall!

  6. Have to echo all the others here. Ouest, you did an excellent job with your photographs especially the George Washington and Sitting Bull pics. Keep up the great work!

  7. Ouest is very good at “seeing” the photographer angles instead of just the “I was there” kind of photos. Great job!

  8. Lovely wrap of the “best road trip ever”! Could you remind me the type of cameras you purchased for your kids. I loved their photos, and of course yours too. The three of you made this trip come alive for your readers. Thanks. Fran
