Some Beach Time

This morning we walked around at the far south end of the beach where Old Town begins and where all the fishermen and their boats are situated. It’s an interesting area full of salty men who look as if they have been coming here each and every morning since they were little boys. Lowe loved the birds. He squeals with delight at the sight of a pelican.

In the afternoon we spent more time on the beach, this time right in front of our condo along the malecon. It’s not a classic lie on the beach and suntan kind of beach, but is great for playing with the kids and watching the locals. We parked ourselves right in front of one particularly grungy, yet packed, restaurant and ordered drinks which they happily delivered to us with our toes in the sand.

Mazatlan is growing on us.
